Letters to my Grandmothers for International Women's Day 2026

This year, I'm celebrating this day differently.
I've recently lost my Nan (last grandparent I have left) and it's been incredibly tough to say the least. In this moment of loss, I have come to realise that both of my grandmothers did not want me to live within the imitations of living hurt (Ps Lysa TerKeurst, 2020) but instead, find joy.
I'm committing to live a life of love, grace and hope—writing beautiful letters to them as I navigate each day.
For International Women's Day, I'm holding this moment of grace by honouring my two (2) beautiful grandmothers who loved and gave so freely.
This strength carried others.
Their love uplifted hearts.
They grace left a mark that time cannot erase.
On 8 March, as you go through your normal day, I encourage you to take gentle pauses to reflect -- who do you look up to?
